I. INTRODUCTION: My research paper is about an evaluation of the Ayhanââ¬â¢s Shish Kebab Restaurant in attracting American customer (WS, pg: 110) lunch trade. The reason Iââ¬â¢m interested in this topic is because I like to know why the restaurant is doing good business for a long time. I have some personal experience being a waitress, as well as an assistant manager in Ayhanââ¬â¢s shish Kebab Restaurant. Therefore, I can make some analysis (WS, pg: 16) on my experience and the reasons why the restaurant is attracting American customers. In my opinion, some reasons play the most significant role in success of the Ayhan's Shish Kebab Restaurant in regards to American customer lunch trade. Since Ayhanââ¬â¢s Shish Kebab Restaurantââ¬â¢s motto relies on customer satisfaction, it is better for me to use my marketing (WS, pg: 277) knowledge and my background to analyze some reasons. II. BACKGROUND SECTION: ââ¬Å"Ayhanââ¬â¢s Shish Kebab Restaurant is mainly a Turkish restaurant. The restaurant has four different locations, all of which provide a wide variety of menu and serve quality for reasonable prices.â⬠(Canas, Interview, November 2002) Like Ayhanââ¬â¢s Shish Kebab Restaurant, ââ¬Å" Turkish cuisine has the extra privilege of being at the cross-roads of the far East and the Mediterraneanâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ (Plaza, 9) ââ¬Å"â⬠¦the Turkish cuisine is a rich and varied number of dishes, which can be prepared and combined with other dishes in meals of almost infinite variety, but always in a non-arbitrary way.â⬠(Plaza, 15) ââ¬Å" When meat is used, it is used sparingly.
